FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Warranty

    Footwear Material and Workmanship Warranty

All footwear is guaranteed by the manufacturer to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. In the event you experience a problem, please contact us for further information. In most cases, we require the customer to send all boot & shoe returns to our main distribution facility for an evaluation by their Quality Assurance personnel. We will repair, replace or make an adjustment according to the decision made regarding the defect. Of course, normal wear and tear is excluded. Any abusive use, product modification or tampering nullifies all warranties.

An RA # is REQUIRED for all returns. Call us: 1-910-367-5899

  2. Why haven’t I ever heard of Rhino work boots & safety shoes?

Rhino footwear has been manufactured for over 25 years. It is sold primarily to independent sporting goods stores, construction companies, job corps, correctional facilities, manufacturing companies, security companies, meat
packing companies, oil field workers, retailers and to anyone who needs a high quality, durable, comfortable safety shoe at an affordable price. We will not sell
    to large discounters.

  3. What kind of quality can I expect?

Rhino Footwear is manufactured to our very strict specifications. We have the finest quality. Our steel toe and composite toe footwear is ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 approved. Boots differ in composition and different models offer attributes such as genuine leather uppers, Goodyear Welt construction, padded collar and tongue, rust resistant eyelets, slip resistant outsoles, cushioned insoles, rubber outsoles. See the description of each model listed in each category.

More detailed spec sheets for steel toe models can be provided upon request. Serious buyers only please.

  4. Where are Rhino safety shoes and boots made?

Rhino footwear is made in China and Guatemala where most boots are made. Even the U.S. Army boots are made in China. HOWEVER - we employ a Quality Control Manager to oversee production so that we can be sure that our Rhino Footwear is made to our strict specifications.

  5. How long do I have to wait for my order to be filled?

We keep 20,000 pairs in stock. Most orders can be filled quickly (within 24 to 48 hours). During certain times of the year we may be out of a certain size but you would have the option to wait for a backorder or we can suggest a substitute with a similar model. We get container loads every two weeks, so we are always receiving a constant supply.

  6. What models do you offer?

We have a wide variety of models suitable to different industries in several different categories:

    Steel Toe
    Composite Toe
    6 inch
    8 inch
    Uniform Oxfords
    Tactical
    Roper – pull on
    Premium

  7. What about oil/slip resistant boots?

We have three models we recommend for people who work in industries where they come in contact with oil and petroleum products. See model 65S01, model 65S08 and model 90S22 in our Steel Toe Category.

  8. What about waterproof boots?

No matter what any manufacturer claims, the only boots that are truly waterproof are rubber boots. We have those in regular and steel toe.

We do have some water resistant models 61C01, 65S01 and 65S08.

  9. Can I buy just one or two pairs?

No, generally minimum orders are 18 pairs. For small companies, exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

We can refer you to one of our retail dealers if you just need one or two pairs.

  10. Do you sell at a discount?

Because we are the primary distributor for Rhino Footwear we can sell at a discount. Prices are 20% below wholesale. Additional discounts are available for very large orders.

  11. What else should I know about Rhino Footwear?

Rhino safety shoes and boots are high quality and are as durable and comfortable as any name brand boot on the market today except at a much more reasonable price, so you can realize a good markup while giving your customers a high quality product that they can afford.
